Korasilon-Paste is excellently suitable as glide-, lubricant- and release agent for e. g. valves, joints and sealings. It is frequently used as an assembly aid as well as protection- and sealing aid. Furthermore the paste can be used for maintaining rubber seals.
The Paste is exceptional hydrophobic and practically insoluble in water. Additionally, it does not melt or liquefy when exposed to hot steam.
It is chemically indifferent to metals and compatible with a wide range of plastics. Compatibility tests are recommended before using with silicones elastomers.
The paste has also proved itself to be usable even under extreme conditions (e. g. very high and low temperatures or seawater).
